Wildcat Art (WCA) Saturday School is a non-profit program that is offered by the University of Arizona School of Art. It serves the Tucson community while providing hands-on teaching experience for advanced undergraduate and graduate art education students.
Now in its 26th year, Wildcat Art classes are structured to encourage students to explore ideas and issues through contemporary (digital media, installation, performance) and traditional art media & practices (drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, design).
Experiences are designed specifically for students at each age/grade level from kindergarten through adolescence (K-12). Classes are taught by advanced and graduate Art & Visual Culture Education students, in collaboration with Art & Visual Culture Education faculty.

In 2021, WCA offered classes over Zoom which helped children continue to foster their creativity and encourage their passion for exploration in their home during the global pandemic of Covid-19. Here, we are pleased to present the Wildcat Art 2021 Exhibition that shows our WCA young artists artworks which they created over the course of 4 weeks!
